Functions:
Raw water from either wells, dugouts, lakes or rivers is chlorinated inline by a liquid chlorine chemical feed pump. The water is then fed into a properly sized retention tank. The chlorine will kill bacteria such as coliform and E.coli. The chlorine will also oxidize iron, manganese and will eliminate hydrogen sulphide gas (rotten egg odor). The water is then fed into a properly sized multi media filter which is designed to remove all of the oxidized iron, oxidized manganese, odor and chlorine residual.
System Includes:
- Chemical Feed Pump
- Solution Tank
- 5 Gallons Liquid CL
- Retention Tank
- 10/54 Fully Automatic Multi-Media Filter
- By-Pass Valve
- CL Test Kit
Eliminates:
- Iron – Iron Staining – Rotten Egg Odor
- Bad Taste – Algae – Coliform Bacteria
- E-coli Bacteria – Slime – Manganese (Black Slime)
Please Note:
The chemical pump check valves must be cleaned periodically to ensure that chlorine is injected properly. The retention tank should be flushed weekly for optimum performance. Liquid chlorine must be diluted with filtered water in order to ensure proper chlorine residual. Media rebeds should be replaced 2-3 years depending on water quality and daily usage.
